............is this possible? I want to use xyp4all mod to create a group list which one could only access with a password.

Answer or suggestions would be appreciated.

Who are you allowing, and who do you want to keep out. Why not create a special group with exclusive privileges to this module, and remove module access from all other groups?

Its an XOOPS site that doesn't allow registration. Its mainly informational but the members of an external group (site owners and 1,0000 group members)want to include contact information which they want to keep private.

You could use an .htaccess file to password-protect the module's directory.

That is what I would do, and it is a simple operation also.
