Change nickname to username

Can anybody tell me where I can change the interface option from nickname to another related name...because nickname is really unprofessional for the website I am trying to build. It would be nice if someone has an idea.

So for the clear view: after installing the XOOPS your first webpage displays : login -> nickname: and below that field password.

Please if any one has a clue...I tried to modify it thru the user.php in the language folder, but this results to nothing. Maybe I am forgetting something here.

what theme are u using? try to take look at your theme file... XOOPS_ROOT/themes//theme.html

additional info, by default XOOPS using "username"... you can see at this site... so, i am sure your theme using "nickname"... so, check your theme.html.. you can change it from there.

Checked it but not present...

See I came to the discovery that XOOPS uses different titles that have been preprocessed. And the strange thing is that the file with the prewritten text >/language/yourlanguage/user.php even if I edit that file it does not edit my tag from nickname to which ever I prefer. This is so frustrating.

Any other idea?

And thanks for the idea...too bad it is not stated there...
