No, I don’t care about what site is the best for support XOOPS (the base of all, idealized by Onokazu, from Japan). And I’m still using the two versions. My question is about the future of development of modules, that can be or not compatible with the XOOPS JP versions in the future. So, looks like a “flame war” tell me to find the modules developers in a Japanese site, because they (the developers) are here. It is so basic; I’m talking about something so obvious…

And why not work together? Why this kind of answer?
Looks like the Brazilian war, “Who is the best and official”.
Looks like FEAR.

M3tatr0N, it's about the 3rd topic I see from you, where you are complaining about :

1) XOOPS core (always refering about XOOPS JP as being 'better' for some reasons).

2) Portuguese translations : why don't you change it yourself, and propose it back to the community.

3) Modules that suits your need and the XOOPS JP compatibility.

Really, I don't understand why you spend your time asking here, while all those question would have a more clear answer on the 'Xoops JP' supports sites...

About AMS being usable on XOOPS JP, I should imagine that it would be. The XOOPS JP core is not so different from the XOOPS core - at least not until XOOPS 2.2

I believe one of the objectives of XOOPS JP is to be able to run XOOPS modules on it as well as XOOPS JP-specific ones.

Solo, I will reply in private, to not create more lost of time.

Mithrandir, thanks for your objective answer.

I will contact the developers in private only, no more in public.

Sorry for it, but this site is heavier than hell.
Best regards,

Àggelos.

One of the features that I would like to see in an article module is to be able to upload pictures into the post by just clicking on a inset button. Kind of how "allow attachments" works in the newbb module.

If a registered user want to write something and put in graphics, it should be available to them.

Or, is this something that I'm overlooking and already exists?

News 1.3+ and AMS 2.41 has a similar image attachment feature to Newbb's

Ok, I see that, but it makes the attached picture a link, not a displayable image in the article...

Follow up question, sorry if asked before:

Does one module look like it will have a "better" development future?
