OK, I believe this may be a database issue?

I am trying to install the xoopschat module again because of the upgraded version released, but I made the mistake of deleting the old version of xoopschat off of my server completely. Now when I try to install the new version of xoopschat I get this error message:

"Installing XOOPS Chat

Table 'xoops_myxoopschat_messages' already exists

Unable to install xoopschat. Error(s):
Back to Module Administration page"

Can anybody tell me what I have to do to fix this and install this module?

Well first off, if you just deleted it from the server and reuploaded the same version it should work as before. All information is in the database, you just deleted and re made the files in place. Check to see if it is working.

You can if you want uninstall it properly now. Once uninstalled through the modules admin page all tables will be deleted from the database. After that if desired you can start over with a fresh install.

I still couldn't get it to install again. I probably did something in the wrong ordwer the first time I uninstalled it? It was a while ago so I don't remember now.

Anyways, I just downloaded and installed xoopopchat and I am much happier with this chatroom anyways.
