Hi everyone,

I have a strange problem with the news module 'news2'
(i already have installed other news modules so install another one to solve the problem is NO option)

When i'm logged in as administrator, I can post news easy.
Through the 'submit news' link in the main (sub)menu, and through the option in the Administrator Menu.

But the problem:

Other users can NOT.
I have set the groups-functions on, so they have a Administrator Menu function only for 'news2'.

To keep it easy, i installed a dropdown menu on the index.
So they have to click on the link to the 'submit news' page.

(when i do this from my administrator accout, it works fine)

When someone else does this, they can type the news, but by submitting it (pressing the 'Post' Button) they see the next page (with the announcement that they will lead back to the page where the news will be 'Thank you for your submisscion! etc.). But at that moment, ABOVE that grey 'Thank you for your submission' field there stands 'error', and after that message, you DO get re-directed to the news page, but there will be NO news...

The text they typed in, also does NOT get saved into the database....

Please help!!

I'm a little confused

Are they submitting news via the submit news button on the homepage or via the Post/Edit News on the admin backend of the News Module?

They are submitting on the homepage...

When they DO submit through the admin-side, the actually CAN post... but those people are a little bit old, so i want to keep it as easy as possible... It already took me a year to explain how the normal way works for posting , 'cause before my site-crash it all worked fine...
