okey, I've got XOOPS installed and running, or at least that's what I think...
I can visit the admin page without any problems but the first page is only a banner and footer. If I set a module as the first page I can see the module but that's not how it should be done? So the question is, there should be something on the main page, right?

You can populate the front page with block content... at least, thats the simplest solution.
