Is url_rewriting really interesting ?

Hi everyone,

I'm a running a pretty great website on XOOPS 1.3.x

I ask the question, is url rewriting really a great thing for a website to increase and/or improve the referencing of a website ?

Have you noticed many changes before and after you url_rewrted your forum, or your forum ?

Curious, your running 1.3?
Thats was XOOPS pre-smarty?

Theres really no need to rewrite urls via mod rewrite.
Read this here for more info on that.
