I am using Newbb 2.0 with XOOPS 2.0

Heres what I want to do, but cant seem to do with my basic knowledge of editing the .css and templates.

I want this to be spaced out, its touching the border but doesnt change when changing padding etc.

Also want better spacing where it says Important Topics and Forum Topics.

For this area I want to remove the envelope or the icon next to it, if not then space them out like above. Its too cosy lol.

I actually want to remove the date column completely OR make it have less text remove the pic or something.

At the moment it makes the rows massive, whereas the forum would look cleaner with thinner rows.
