G'day, I'm new to XOOPS.

Have a few questions.

I installed the 4thefort theme on my site. I'm activating modules and blocks and whatnot, but I can't seem to get menu's to the side of the site?

I'm unsure what I'm doing wrong.

And when I change theme, only a couple of modules are showing in the menu's.

Cheers.

Can you give a link to your site?

theres no block because you didnt enable it..

enable it by clicking the system >> blocks..

find what blocks you want to enable then put what area it should show left center or right

I did this but it still isn't showing.

Maybe it's because I have version 2.1.1 installed.

Do the problems you mentioned occur with the default theme?

You're aware that 2.1.1 is a development version not intended for production sites?

Indeed.

I've gone back to 2.1.0. That theme is still giving me problems. Is there something additional I should be doing?

The default theme -appears- to be fine.

What Dave_L means is that any 2.1.x series is a development version and is not intended for production sites. You should use the stable 2.0.10 instead.
