Certainly not. It was a majority vote among the at the time 12 members of the Core Team, after I brought forward that I could not work with developing the core together with Kazu and would leave XOOPS if he did not leave the core development team. I never intended for Kazu to leave us altogether, I pictured him a very important person as the connection to the Japanese XOOPS community. However, there were reasons why I could not work with him that I will not tell you out of respect for Kazu's importance to XOOPS in the past.

Why should we? We have been working a certain bodypart out of our trousers for the past years in order to improve XOOPS and are still doing that. Why should we destroy everything we've worked so hard for? Why should we drop the XOOPS community into uncertainty about what will happen to XOOPS?
