No I don't remember those guys. But regarding the implication an "duty" aspect of developping modules, keep in mind I do it (as almost everyone here) mainly because I need those module for a personnal use. Most frequently, I add features I don't personnaly need, but because I think this could be of use for someone else.

To be honest, I don't have any obligation to people using my modules, nore am I the owner of its codes (remember this as well).

I take it from user what they can bring me: bug reports, interesting enhancement suggestions (generally I don't pay to much attention to very specific use, but like to prioritize general purpose features).

Remember I don't owe you anyting, nore to anyone else in this community. You have a problem I clearly understand. I would be more than happy to help you to solve this, the best I can. But remember you can "beg for something" never "require".

Regarding the evolution of my modules, up to now, I tried to stick to their developments. multiMenu is an exemple, along with Edito. Now myMedia and myEdito are on their own way. Believe me, all this represents tons of time and work (without talking about the time I spend discussing here).

So, if I can suggest you something. Instead of complaining about how things are done, dig in it, and help yourself.

Aaah, yes, my good ol' bug.

This errors show up if you are using a old version of EasyPHP. 2 solutions :

1) Upgrade your EasyPHP

2) Quote the specified line (Not a big deal, Meta tags would just be selected in a diferent manner).

Real Audio and Video media types (.ram or .rm) would be nice to integrate.

It seems to be a very good module. Thanks for your work.

Nowhere, at the moment. I'm trying to figure out how to proceed. Feeback appreciated. Here are the various possibilities:

1) Somewhere in the module preferences, you define default size and settings.

2) For each and every page, you can choose your settings.

And regarding the settings:

1) Possibility to define each and every settings (more complex - can be confusing).

2) 2 or 3 modes: restricted or extend mode (easier and userfriendly).

Wadayathink?

That could be consider as the most clear example of quality X quantity,

As I consider that the good things must be exalted......,
did u have a look on franci?s dbaser module?

It has a very nice player management based on html codes for different players, with some extra configs options like size, controls, autostart, etc, etc.....

Could be a way.
What do you think?

A+

Hi Mesum

In the begining of the thread we have:

At the moment, myMedia reckognize the following : .mov, .avi, .mpg, .mp3, .gif, .jpg, .png, flash. If there is something different, it will be played by default with Windows media player. If you have a specific media list, please feel free to post here so I can add them.

Re: [myMEDIA] Test my new media manager module

the module works great! i love it so far. . . there are a couple of things that i'm not sure how to deal with.

1) .ram files don't play properly. This is a real media filetype. can I easily add this to a mime type for the module?

2) is there a way to prevent the index of files/pages from being added to the user menu underneath the link for the module section? with a long list of files, this gets out of hand. .

3). is it possible to limit the number of files that show up in the menu block list? this seems to quickly get out of hand also.
