I have been searching around the forum, but could not find an answer.

I have just installed the really nice news 1.3 final module. All works nicely, even my old news was gently intergrated into the new one. However, I just wanted to edit the template of the recent news block to fit my site. Cloned the templates and made sure it was setup correctly in the preferences. I don't use cache, and templates are updated.

But when I change the templates it doesn't show up, whatever I try, I even totally wrekked the template by putting in some odd values. Here's the code which XOOPS thinks is in the template


but even this cannot upset the block and displays nicely.

it is the center left block named 'laatste nieuws'.


One last thing I tried is delete al template files on the server,.but no results.

Now I'm a bit stuck and hope someone could help me,.

I've solved the problem,.,.seemed to be a combination of the old news module and the spotlight module I once installed. But thank you anyway
