Sure, make a wide banner, code your theme to support it, done.

Okay when you say code your theme, how do I code. Do I need to take the logo code from the page, if so whereabouts is it?

Cheers

Check the FAQ about modifying your theme. You would simply give a place in your theme for your banner. Depending on your theme you might not have to do anything but create the banner. The theme.html might already have a place for it ($xoops_banner).

My theme is the XOOPS default theme. I have the banner alredy in place in which you would have to scroll sideways because the logo is still there. Which part of the html/style do I have to delete to remove the logo?

Yep got it its was in the theme.html
