Hi,

i just started working with XOOPS,
and i currently have the following problem:

Is there a variable just for the news topic, which i can use in news_block_new.html?

I tried <{$news.topic}> , but this one doesn't exist. And is there a list of all usable variables?

Hi Martin,

try switching on Smarty-debug. It will then list all variables the core is outputting for a certain page.

Thanks for your help,
but there doesn't seem to be a variable just for the topics name.

Seems to be "hard-coded" with the headline?

Does anyone know if the "headline" and the "topic" (category) can be seperated?
