I'm new and want to make a banner exchange: example

like the one here. http://mmabannerexchange.com . I have setup phpAdsNew. What other sugestions to make this as stramlined as the one her and get rid of all the rest of the stuff XOOPS offers. I just want it simple and basically have the same functions as this one. Suggestions and links to good info appreciated. thanks.
