Hi,

When not being logged in to a XOOPS driven site (i.e. being anonymous) I click on the username of somebody who wrote a news message and can see all his (more or less) personal details (e.g. email-address, homepage-address, even the headlines of his latest postings).

I consider this to be a bug. I don't want my anonymous visitors to be able to see all that information. Or is it a feature and I just didn't find the right switch to turn that off?

Since you are a member of the XOOPS core team: Can you explain why I have to hack the code? Why is this not integrated in official releases?

I agree it would be a nice checkbox option for administrators to have.

My understanding is that the feature will be present in XOOPS 2.1.0.
