Installation problem

I just trying to set up XOOPS for the first time. I've installed MySql 3.23.58 and seem able to create databases from the command line. But when I try to install XOOPS I can get as far as the "Confirm Database Settings" but when I try to go to the next page I get a blank page not the "Check Database" page.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I found it!!! I had to set the windows path so it could find the PHP_MYSQL.DLL and edit the PHP.INI to allow the MySql Dll extension.
