can not add new form or anything

Hi:

I installed XOOPS on my mac(osx10.3.8). it running fine now, but i can not add any form, news etc. I can do this on my isp server though. My understand is there is something wrong with my Base URL. Where is the place to change the Base URL?

o, hi again:

I had look at mainfile.php, everything is correct inside.. but i still can't add any form.. i can't go into news manager, and etc.. i can add all the module from the admin, but once the module installed, there is nothing else i can do with the new module..

i didn't get any error message from XOOPS when i click on add form or add news. all i get is new page with footer only:

"Powered by XOOPS 2.0.10 RC © 2001-2005 The XOOPS Project".

. that is all..

anyone can help?

i turned debug php on, than this showed up:

means that your server is running PHP5 which is not supported by Newbb version 1 (Newbb 2 should be PHP5 compatible)

Either upgrade to Newbb 2 or enable the Apache directive register_long_arrays - or a similar directive in your Mac's webserver.

PS. See how much easier it is to get a useful (I hope) reply when you add debug messages to the problem?
