How do I get content on the main page, like a welcome message or whatever?http://www.slotsoft.com/xoops/

I have figured out most of the other stuff, but the home page has got me lost.

Hi, and welcome on Xoops.org forums.

I think the best you can do is to read documentation files (search out for "Xoops for dummies" for example, or the FAQ on this site) and learning how to manage blocks.

For example, you will learn that for creating a welcome message, you will have to go to admin>block>custom block and create there a new block with your welcome message here. Don't forget to give proper authorisations to access this blocks for anonymous users (admin>groups).
