Please take a look at my site United Flyball League International. I am having a problem with the left most coloumn. It needs to be sized a little smaller as it is wasting space, I think I am also wasting space on the right. I can't figure out how to adjust it.

Look for this text in you style.css styleNN.css and styleMAC.css files for your theme;
Quote:

td#leftcolumn {width: 180px; font-size:12px; background : #FFFFFF; }

Quote:

td#rightcolumn {width: 180px; font-size:12px; background : #FFFFFF; }

Change the width attribute to whatever you want it to be. I think I have mine set to 150 of something from memory, but whatever works for you. Note that you will not be able to narrow the right column at all as the graphic you have at the top has a width of 183px.

you need to edit all the CSS files in your theme: look for something like
Quote:

td#leftcolumn {width: 202px; color:#EEEEEE; }

and adjust the px width accordingly.

*edit* Oh, one of my themes.... nice to see :)

You guys are awesome! Thanks.

TJ, great theme, thank you... I still have some more colors to adjust as the Forums aren't looking so hot.

Actually, it's my theme :)
I would suggest changing the following in your style sheets:
Quote:

.foot {background-color: #331F64; padding: 5px; font-weight: bold;color:#FFFFFF}

Adds white text to the foot, without this you can't read the text that's there. That was one of the first themes I did, and there's a few things I missed.

I would recommend getting the free version of Top Style Lite , it makes changing style sheets so much easier!

@bassman oops, sorry did not mean for that to happen, just thought it was funny when you realized it was your theme.

No probs TJ :) That theme is a bit below your standard, but it's nice to see my themes in use anyhow :)

Sorry for the confusion, Bassman. I made the suggested change, but am not seeing the effect. I will try that style sheet editor and see how that works.

Thanks for all the help.
