Hi,

I just installed xoops, added articles, forum modules and it works fine. So I tried to install icontent module which seems to be quite used. The problem is that I unzipped it into the xoops-2.0.9.2/modules/icontent folder but it doesn't appear in the bottom of the admin list (I do not have this message "module not found", just ... nothing). I checked the xoops_version.php and the dirname value (icontent). So what can I check more, how does a module appear in this list ? Just reading the xoops_version.php in all the modules subfolder ? Is there an apache default path to set ?

I'm using Easyphp 1.8 on my local pc as a web server.

Thanks for your help

Olivier

and this answer is (I found by myself) : be careful to download in the correct folder, that's to say XOOPS/HTML/modules (and not XOOPS/modules). It't stupid but no so obvious in the doc & faq I red.

I Olivier.

I have the same problem.
I installed 2 versions of xoops, 2.0.9 Beta and 2.0.9.2
Whit 2.0.9 Beta, the iconten module is missing, but with 2.0.9.2 run ok (for now)

Are you sure that in version 2.0.9.2 not run?

Daniel.
(Sorry for my poor english).
