XOOPS Physical Path
Physical path to your main XOOPS directory WITHOUT trailing slash

What is this?
I am not hosting from home
im with hostultra

my account name is teamexecute
there ftp is ftp.hostultra.com
and my default folder is /xoops

right off the main
so what would the physical be?

Your host can supply you with this information. Usually it looks something like this:

/home/username/public_html

That would be Ask your host. They know the actual path.

Could not write into mainfile.php. Please check the file permission and try again.

Mainfile.php needs to be chmod 777 when installing, and afterwards changed to chmod 444. 777 is so the install script can write to the file.

Tried, changing them to 777, but problem proceeds?
