I want to include a PHP script in a custom block.

When I paste the script into the block editor, it doesn't work - no errors, but it just doesn't work.

I tried selecting php script, and that didn't work.

I then tried selecting html and using an include statement - that didn't work.

When I call the script directly form my browser, it works just fine.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you.

John

Try removing the <?php and ?> tags from your script, and select php as block type.

Thank you Bassman.

When I did that, the page would not load at all.

I found a work around however, I created a custom block, then used iframe to load the script.

Thanks for your assistance, and I certainly welcome any other ideas.
