I've tried to add a few banners to the affiliate section of the oscommerce module (xoopsshop), but the banners won't show!!

I've looked through the oscommerce documentation, but there's nothing i can find about it, everytime i search for affiliate + banner, I only get the stuff about the 'normal' banner management.

Well, here's my problem:

I've added 2 banners to the Affiliate Banners (banners affiliates can put on their website to link to my website/shop - just for those who don't know ;) ) and no matter what I do, the images won't show up.

I've filled in everything just like it was supposed to be (uploading banner from my computer, give it a title, put 0 in the box to let it link to the website itself, instead of a product and the directory the banners should be saved), but it just doesn't work (the link itself does, but the banner gets a nice red cross instead of the banner itself...)

does anyone know how to fix this???

Try chmod banner directory to 777

Does the osCommerce module (Xoopsshop) actually work?. I got the impression it was an abandoned project. I'm sure I've seen a few posts here somewhere about problems with it.

the xoopsshop does work. everything but the affiliate banners - the links do work, only the images don't.

i've also chmodded the banners directory to 777, but that didn't work either.

[edit] found another little thing that doesn't work in the affiliate area - building a link by the affiliates themselves)
but I still haven't found why the banners won't show up...[/edit]

[edit2]
Okay, just searched for 'xoopsshop' and that found more posts then when I looked for 'oscommerce', I've just read that the erm...developer(?) of the xoopsshop module will continue on it at the end of April, so I guess I'll just wait.
