Yes, can well recommend surpasshosting. Very attractive packages for the money. Good support and pretty releiable servers.

They also have many xoopsers, so their forums are a useful place to ask cross platform questions.

Hi,
I'm sure you must have thaought about it but why not look to become a hoster yourself?

Xoops is so easy to set up and play around with that once you have set-up your site you may find that there are others interested. You can then split the hosting fees or retail the hosting for youreself.

This turns your costs from overhead to investment, and increases the returns. (even if it covers admin it may be worth it )

Like you I couldn't make up my mind, so I went with a Host in the next village .
Seiretto Hosting

I guess it's what you make of it...

I have had great luck with webhostingbuzz.com. I have selected the biggest package for the bandwidth issue at 65000 I find it was the best deal for the money.

This last year they have updated all their servers to dual xeons and have been running great. At first two years ago their was a lot of down times but I would say that have corrected these issues as I have not noticed any downtime in the last 8 months.

the dont over load their servers but over selling account, instead they have a set number of accounts they sell for each server keeping in mind that they do offer unlimited sub-domains and add on domains.

Well worth the 85 USD per year for everything they offer.

As far as XOOPS on their servers I have 6 XOOPS sites and all installed / run just fine without problems.

I can only attest to companys I've used in the past and still do. Note these are all reseller deals or a VPS style server.

http://www.bluewho.com
http://www.dathorn.com
http://www.servint.com
http://www.voxtreme.com
http://www.voxtreme.co.uk

All of these resellers have never let me down.
