Moving from Mambo CMS to Xoops

Hello everyone,

I have a quiet large site based on Mambo CMS at the moment. For several reasons I need to migrate that site to Xoops.
I've been searching for a while and took answer in most of my questions. However, I just need to be sure before start the migration :)

What I need is:

1. Abilitiy to include easily javascript (functions etc) inside the content

2. Multilanguage support (very important)

3. Custom template per language

Your comments are much appretiate.

I can't speak to all the points, but I know there is a multilanguage hack available (it is not a core feature). The hack is used widely and seems to be well maintained, though I don't use it myself so I can't personally vouch.

for the multilanguage, peak.ne.jp (gijoe's) has also released a version what he called The Easiest Multi-Language Hack (EMLH). if i'm not mistaken it is a content multi-language program, combined with the menu's and xoops' core multi-language Dave_L and DonXoop explained somewhere in this forum, i think i provide a complete and powerful (yet very easy) multi-language support (i hope someone can package it or include it as the XOOPS core?).

question no 1 and 3: somebody else might be able to response in it.

I know that the "theme changer" module will specify a different theme per module basis and also per page basis.

This is the first post that I have ran across requsting a different theme per language. You might be able to pull that off with the themechanger module in the downloads section. If it will not do what you need you might be able to adapt the code for your specific request.
