I currently have my site installed at wwww.webdiscourse.com/root with a page redirect.

So, when a user goes to http://www.webdiscourse.com the index.php page will redirect them to http://www.webdiscourse.com/root.

I originally did this so I could have multiple copies of XOOPS on a domain, but have now decided not to do this. I want to move all the files and directories back a level out of the "root" folder and not have my redirect page.

If I move the files and folders to the http://www.webdiscourse.com is the only file I need to edit the "mainfile.php" with the new "XOOPS_ROOT_PATH" and "XOOPS_URL"?

Thanks.

Jim

Jim,
Yes, that is correct. I would copy all the files and folders from the installation to your new destination, change the mainfile.php to reflect this, and once it's working ok, delete your old folder.
