Maybe you should re-check everything again.

Ok download your default folder from your site into a folder. Open theme.html again and check:

<tr id="header">

      <
td id="headerlogo"><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/"><img src="<{$xoops_imageurl}>logo.gif" width="150" height="80" alt="" />a>td>

      <
td id="headerbanner"><{$xoops_banner}>td>

    tr>

is

<tr id="header">

      <
td id="headerlogo"><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/"><img src="<{$xoops_imageurl}>logo.gif" width="900" height="115" alt="" />a>td>

      <
td id="headerbanner"><{$xoops_banner}>td>

    tr>

Be sure to re-upload this.

Upload your new image with the name logo.gif into the default folder.

Then do what bassman said: Update module template .html in Prefs. Refresh your site and should happen.

Even clearing your own cache on your computer also sometimes helps me.

Also sometimes I upload stuff to the wrong themes folder. So be sure its the default folder. Good luck

Thanks Beejay, but I can't get it. I'll check back soon, but I need to step outside this for a bit. Very frustrated by this.

Everything worked out! Showcase17 sent me a PM soon after my post. I emailed him the link to my themes.html file. He recoded the headerlogo lines and soon later my themes.html file was back to normal. Thanks Showcase17 for your generosity, it was critical to me getting alot of work done this weekend.

Later Beejay also sent me a PM about emailing him the link, again, thanks.

While I don't write down each little thing and wish I could site them and give proper credit, it's worth repeating what I wrote in my last post. Xoops...Kicks...Ass. Both the developers who code it and the support that contribute to this forum. XOOPS kicks ass.

I'm very happy about how happy I am with Xoops, it's great. I've used a bunch of databases and XOOPS is perfect for my needs.
