Yay! I upgraded the news module, and everything works great...
I don't fully understand how this development works, though... Xoops' core is released with a snapshot of certain developers' modules? And whenever a new XOOPS core is ready, those core modules are incorporated into the tar file, or has it been so long since I installed XOOPS that I forgot that I had to download the news module myself?
It just seems like it is a suboptimal way of keeping up-to-date...(me having to manually upgrade this module)
