PHP en MySQL version are ok. CHMOD of the mailfile.php is 666, tried it with 777 too...

anyone an idea?

after this message, the mainfile.php is 0 KB.

mainfile.php needs to be 777 while installing.

I suggest you upload a fresh copy of mainfile.php, set the permissions to 777 and try again.

Is this a Linux or Windows server? If linux check it in your host account control panel file manager and make sure it is actually chmod 777. Some host restrict chmod 777.
