First installation problems

Hi

I have downloaded the works, Appache, php, MySql and XOOPS and installated them all and it all seemed ok. untill it tried to connect to xoops. I typed in http://localhost/xoops and instead of getting the install application I get a directory listing of the XOOPS directory. Have I missed something?

are you using a windows-based system? if yes, seems that you need to set the iis to accept .php (go to iss manager, right click on the "default web site" and add "index.php" in the "document" tab).

Thanks. iis was not installed. I have now installet it but it has not fixed the problem.
