In the XOOPS core, a new section may called "My settings" should be introduced. This section allows all module developers to put all necessary settings that site members can customize. This acts as a global place for members to configure their accounts.

Of course, the module developer should allow the webmaster to set which settings will be open for users to configurate on their own.

This can gather all settings in one place and allow flexibility to do a favour to members.

One thing that it may be possible is the codes of all existing modules need to be re-configurated, if they currently have customizable options for users.

But for other modules with no such at this moment, they can be developed to give higher flexibility.
