I dragged over the new files via ftp

but I still see Powered by XOOPS 2.0.7 rather than 2.0.9.2

Am I supposed to run a script or something?

thanks

You should update the System Module in modules administration, but that should be it.

This "Powered by XOOPS 2.0.7" is in the administration menu footer? Are you sure you got all the files copied to the webserver? The version number displayed there is in xoops-root/include/version.php - could you check if that is actually saying 2.0.7?

i haven't upgraded myself, but i think you need to update the system module (and all other modules) - through the system->modules update - to complete the upgrade.

Updates system modules and all other modules

in the admin section it says 2.0.9.2

in version.php it says 2.0.9.2

when accessing the standard interfaces it says 2.07

wonder if this is something to do with the skin???

If it is in the front-end of the site, it is most likely to do with the theme's theme.html. Also check System Admin -> Preferences -> Meta Tags and Footer
