There are a lot of hacks around to make profiles exactly the way you want. I've implemented one of these hacks into my website and it works superb. It does not take a lot of programming skills to create these personal profiles, so I suppose everybody can do it.

And I really think it's a good idea to take things like this out of the core. Because if you don't need it you should be able to NOT have it. The more minimalized the core the better.

Well Jansen, to pick up on a positive note here, could you maybe point to one of these hacks with a link maybe? The problem as we have seen in this thread is that people call 'THIS' feature by different names which can make it darn hard to find from a search!

If we can find a hack that works, I will put this as a FAQ so that others can easily find the details again.

Heh, came back now to see I've almost caused civil war here.

Anyway, I am learning now how to code modules, but I thought that dynamic profiles is core feature, so I suggested it.
