I installed xoops-2.0.9.2 and included forum module. But I cant see some features like drop down "Forum Options"/"Search" , "Poll" etc. as on this site. And I dont like the froum icons either. Rather icons of this site's forum looks simple and good.
What am I missing?

do you install newbb 2.0.2 ? or newbb1 that exist in xoops2.0.9.2 package?
these features you mentioned only are in newbb 2+

I downloaded "XOOPS2_mod_newbb_2.02.rar" from the link you provided. When I went to admin>modules XOOPS shows the version as 2.01, why is that?

In 2.0.2, the version number in xoops_version.php is incorrect.
