Move site from Temporary domain to Live domain

I have multiple domains running on my server.

I tested and have everything ready under 1 domain.(aminizoo.com)

Now I want to move it to the live domain
(geneseo.il.us)

Both domains are on the same server, so the database does not have to be recreated.

What are the procedures for moving this site?
What files / tables need to be edited?

or is it just best to backup database, recreate everything, then restore the database.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to XOOPS forums

Why don't you keep the site where it is and just change your domain settings?

I can do that.

What needs to be changed in the database or any other files, since the domain name is changing.

If it stays in the same place and just changes the domain, then just the virtual path of mainfile.php should be changed to reflect this.

Thanks for the help, all is done.

Only issue I have is with wf-sections v2.91
where images are not stored properly, so I added img src tag to make them work, which meant I had to change all the image src to geneseo.il.us.

I will get help from their forum on this problem

Thanks again.
