Anybody here have any idea on how to edit the code in the member registration form so that the other fields would be required to be filled up by the users?

Do you mean like the website url as well?

In Xoops_root/include/registerform.php

You need to add a required switch to the code:

as in this example:

$reg_form->addElement(new XoopsFormText(_US_WEBSITE, "url", 25, 255, $url));


to:

$reg_form->addElement(new XoopsFormText(_US_WEBSITE, "url", 25, 255, $url), true);


Note the 'true' switch at the end there.
