Is it possible to have a module that allows people to browse the website for a set period of time after which the modules become blocked until signup?

For example. A user can browse the website for 5 minutes or 2 times and after that a block appears requesting the users to signup...

Or a user can browse the website for 5 minutes and a block appears requesting to signup or continue anonymous, giving us the oppertunity to explain how it benefits us when people sign-up (we are non-profit)

I dont like to block un-registered users from the start, as we are a free service... http://www.english2day.com

Sounds like a good idea, but there are no modules or hacks I know of that do this currently.
