I've been having problems with XOOPS from the getgo with it remembering my registered login. It seems that with both Firefox and IE, you have to re-log in each time after you close the browser and restart.

Ive messed around with the preferences endlessly without getting it to work.

Can anyone tell me how to get it to work??

That is pretty much the default behavior of XOOPS for security.

If you want to auto login each time you will need to use a hack. The Auto Login Hack by GIJOE is the one I use.

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately I gave it a try and it doesn't seem to be working either.. :o ..

I'll have to post a question on that website or something.
