I know I've overlooked the appropriate module. Anyway, any recommendations on a module that supports text with a file upload compliment? I even like the XOOPS module repository, but don't know where to locate something with those features. Thanks, Jim

Hello Jim and welcome to XOOPS forums

Your spec was quite broad... text with a file upload.

the modules repository uses wfdownloads module, but its really intended for file sharing.

The module xhelp allows text and a file upload, but thats a trouble ticket system.

xcgal and myalbum are image upload and organising modules that also allow anotation of images as text.

newbb forum is a text input module that can also be configured to allow images and files atached to posts.

If these don't hit the mark, please give some more details as to what you want to do

Much appreciated. Ultimately need a knowledgebase. FAQ with file upload, etc. The wfdownloads looks liks something that would meet my needs. Thanks.

Have you had a look at AMS? You're able to attach files to articles in that, and you are also able to search via article ID. Still pretty light on for features to be a full blown knowledgebase, but something I plan to develop a bit further as time goes on.

I did see that. I think the course of least resistance is to upgrade to the newbb 2.0.1. I'm really just missing the file attachment piece, so that should get me by. Thanks for the input.
