Hint... make sure your theme.html is set to update automatically in admin settings, clear templates_c and flush browser cache.

Thanks, I've tried all of those suggestions except for dumping the templates_c folder---off topic, but since the last (and only) time I emptied that folder I've experienced nothing but problems...

ie, see this thread, for example (if you like):

Strange problem with MyAlbum 2.7...

Again, off topic, there's nine errors showing now when running PHP Debug (no MySQL or Smarty errors though), since dumping the templates_c folder...Oddly enough, my host says they can't duplicate the errors from their end and suggested I reinstall XOOPS (which seems to be a "brush-off" of a solution to me).

Anyway, I'll keep at it...
