Hello (sorry for my english, I'm french ...)

I have a small but uggly bug in newbb2 with a couple of themes (blue lagoon, karate_redux_blue ...) : with those themes, the forum menus (aka Main Options, Forum Options, Search Forum ...) don't auto-hide : they are always plain shown.

I guess it is a bug of the themes, in a javascript function. But I'm not good enough to solve it myself.

Can anyone help me ?

See this faq Here put that string in the head of your theme.html and the menus will work properly.

Recently updated to NewBB 2.01 and get the same problem on the category page as seen here:

As noted in the thread, the FAQ and elsewhere, the string is included as per the instructions. This happens on all the javascript menus...

Grateful for any ideas...

I figured it out though I don't understand why it does it. I tried this out repeatedly, so I think there is a direct correlation. I added the latest of the ShortURLs hacks to one of my less visited sites to experiment. I added and deleted the hack twice and each time, the javascript menus stayed expanded and did not collapse (as in the pic above). When I removed the hack, the menu functioned perfectly.

And I was kinda having fun with the hack, too
