Does anyone know where I can post a message for paid help with xoops? I need immediate help developing a site. My budget is between $200 and $400. I will do most of the work, I just need assistance and guidance.

You should be able to find plenty of help here? Perhaps if you define the scope of what you are wanting might help people to see if they have the skills, and time necessary.

Basically, I need to make a news site for a newspaper company. The reason that my budget is so low is because I'm doing this site in exchange for advertising. I'm not getting paid. So the budget is coming out of my pocket.

Anyway, I need the site to have all the features of a modern newspaper site. These include:

1. users with different access levels
2. free content and content for paid subscribers only
3. all the different news categories
4. an organized marketing system to handle banner ads and marketing clients
5. a classifieds section
6. a weather section and a little "current weather" image and temperature on the front page like at the top of azcentral.com
7. an instant subscription payment/activiation system where a user gets subscription access immediately upon online payment (no human action is needed).
8. a great template design like that at www.fantasyref.com

Like I said, I am willing to do most of the work, I just need guidance and much help. Thanks.

i do not think there is a module to handle this item

Hey tjnemez, if you're looking at taking up the job, you might want to have a look at xDonations. It supports changing of group membership and user rank upon confirmation of a donation. Only catch is the user must be registered first so xDonations has an account to change the permissions on, but with a little imagination this could be worked into the design echazen is after I would think.

yeah, it's pretty cool . I've only tested it lightly and it seemed to work no worries. You'd probably want to do some heavier testing though to be sure that it works with each option combination.
