First off, I am just in love with XOOPS, I have a nice XOOPS server setup here at work that has allowed support here to be done a lot easier.

Anywho, on to the module I would like to see..

We here at the university that I work at have some highly specialized equipment that when used actually require payment to offset the costs of having and maintaining them. At this time, there is just cheesy sign-up sheets for the equipment, so potential users will have to go look at the sheets to find available times, and then pen in requests to use the equipment.

When accounting is done, they have to gather sheets of paper and then look things over. This is not an optimal system at all. So what I was wondering was is it possible to get a calendering software module for XOOPS that would allow registered users of the system to book dates on the equipment, as well as allow us a way to look over the entire month for accounting?

We would obviously have to have a setup that would allow the people in charge of these machines to change times and remove people as everything here is rather fluid.

Just a thought.

in the module repository there is a "meeting room booking system" and I have myself a server booking module (meant for booking online game servers, but I guess it could be altered to fit booking just about anything else) - unfortunately I do not have the time to fiddle it into a generic booking module, but it could be a place to start for you?

Thanks for the suggestions, I will review them and see if they fit our needs here.
