Installation is Okay,
but after installation, this will show:

What can I do?

I would re-upload object.php file again. The file or other files might be corrupted while you uploading them.

Are you using PHP 5 perchance? I am, and I'm experiencing the same issue, though the message is slightly different...

I just upgraded from v2.06 to 2.0.7rc2, which replaces object.php, and that made no difference. But given the only change in that file isn't really related to this, I'm not surprised.

Using PHP 5 too, and I get the same error message.

The OO stuff in PHP 5 is heavily revised...

Probably a conflict between PHP5's clone and the clone method on the XoopsObject.

In time we will support PHP5, but until we fully know how to use it, XOOPS does not officially support PHP5 (some have working XOOPS installations with PHP5 - but others as you have not)

Hi we're getting the same error here with PHP5 - is there a patch/new version out yet for XOOPS?

PHP5 will be standard issue soon on new server CP releases (Ensim etc.)

Xoops 2.0.9x series has not this conflict with the native clone() method due to a renaming of XoopsObject::clone() to xoopsClone()
