Actually, I've seen this happen due to incorrect paths in themes as well (but never in an unaltered default theme before). What happens if you try setting XOOPS to use another theme by default (phpkaox has never missed a beat for me)?

Sorry, already tried that...

Its so annoying, seems to be a strange one, yet its al stock standard and everything has be uninstalled and reinstalled as per my previous posts.

I had even gone that extra mile when I tried 3 different web server software to get it to work :)

Really appricate you help on this.

ITS FIXED

I found the answer in the following post by Lilie14. It turned out to be an invalid MySQL Temp path.
