I have installed XOOPS and got it running but am not sure that I can use it in the manner I had hoped.

I have seen some comments about using XOOPS for multi-sites but that seemed to be aimed at a group of closely related sites.

I want XOOPS to be a content manager for a range of sites, the only commonality of which is that I would be administering them all.

I'd like to be able to setup subdomains business1.mydomain, business2.mydomain etc.. or business3.theirdomain each being independent.

Then have users (business 1 admin, business 2 admin, ...) who would be able to manage theme, content etc... for their own entities.

I do have a case where mutli site would be good (my rugby union, with club 1, club2, etc..) and want to be able to have each club setting their own theme etc...

Would XOOPS be able to manage these setups, or would it need a seperate setup for each site?

I am aware of XOOPS community website background but with its increasing focus for corporate portals etc.. I'd have thought I'd not been alone it wanting to do this.
