Groups not working!!!

Well i have a problem, and it goes like this. I can't get to the groups section of the admin menu...it displays this error:
HTTP 406 Not Acceptable and he offers me to turn back or quit, so please can someone tell me what can be causing the problem!

in short:
do you under firewall or your hosting provider install a software for block attacks via http? ask them
