Install Wizard for XOOPS version 2.0..9.2

I was following the XOOPS version 2.0.9.2 Installation Guide to do the install.

My Web Hosting Provider using:

Red Hat 7.2
Apache 1.3
PHP 4.0.6 and GD 1.6.2
MySQL 3.23.41

and I use browser Firefox 1.0

When I click the NEXT button on the first screen (Welcome to the Install Wizard for XOOPS 2.0) nothing happens i.e. does not take me to the next screen. Your help is very much appreciated.

Look here for XOOPS Requirements.

PHP 4.1.0 is a MUST for installing Xoops. Anyways you should have an even newer version of PHP installed. But you only have 4.0.6. The latest is 4.3.10

Hmmm.... so my ISP can't fulfill for XOOPS.

Yes, and I think your hoster doesn't care much about security too! Because PHP 4.3.10 isn't just a new version. There were many bugs and security flaws fixed since 4.0.6. So you should force your hoster to upgrade the PHP version!
