The html source code revealed that XOOPS is doing some sort of parsing on to it. I had similar problems when XOOPS line break was available in wfsection but in newbb, there is nothing like that on top of that i have also enabled "html posts" still misbehave like this is out of understanding as of now.

yeah, you need to get rid of those 2 br tags at the beginning.

Why is it rewriting the code? It doesn't do that for me.

Still the same, somehow i am also not able to figure out whats making it rewrite the code. I have enabled the "html tags" in newbb preferences, in forum preferences and also selected it while posting, but some how its rewriting the code, replacing \n with

You are using the DHTML editor right?

I have looked, don't know where the br tags are coming from.

Hi vinit,

the only thing to make it work is, to "Allow Html" in the Forum setting and . As you see here:

http://www.xoops2.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=962&start=0#forumpost3958

the first Posting from you was without enable html tags in the reply,edit or newtopic form.

Predator i have done that.

This is what i am doing.
1. admin -> forums-> forumtopic -> enabled "Allow html"
2. Forums -> forumtopic -> Reply -> enabled "html tags"

I still face the issue.

This is what i see when i dont enable html tags

and this is what i see once i enable the html tags in post
